GoBowling.com 400 Race Weekend Fan-Driven Special Events

Pocono Raceway will host several fan-driven special events including driver appearances, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) open garage and the opportunity for the public to attend the Infield Block Party and Fireworks on Saturday evening. Additionally, fans will be able to register for GoBowling.com’s “Win $43,000 if #43 Wins” contest and the 50/50 raffle, where on lucky fan wins half the pot (which saw a $16,000 winner in June), by visiting various locations through the facility, during the GoBowling.com 400 race weekend August 1-3.

Thursday, July 31

  • Pocono Celebrity Poker Showdown – play poker against NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers Kurt Busch and Greg Biffle, NASCAR President Mike Helton, Dale Earnhardt, Jr.’s Crew Chief Steve Letarte, several NCWTS drivers and more. The event will be hosted at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Down in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and benefits The NASCAR Foundation and Armed Forces Foundation. Visit www.nascar.com/foundation for full details.

Friday, August 1

  • NCWTS Autograph Session – Get your autograph from several of the drivers competing the Pocono Mountains 150. Event is free to attend and wristbands for the event, given on a first-come, first-serve basis, will be provided before the autograph session. Visit our website for additional details.
  • NCWTS OPEN Garage – We are opening the Truck Series Garage on Friday. Registration will occur prior to this exclusive experience inside the Paddock area. Pre-Race Pit/Paddock Pass will be required. Registration details can be found on www.poconoraceway.com. Certain terms and conditions may apply.

Saturday, August 2

  • Go Pink at Pocono 3 Track Walk – Visit the Bill Martel Racing tent, located under the Grandstand by the Start/Finish line, to register for this track walk to benefit the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition. The walk will take place on Saturday following the Pocono Mountains 150 NCWTS race.
  • Infield Block Party and Fireworks – Back by popular demand, we’re opening our infield to the general public for a $5 donation, per vehicle, to the Tunkhannock Township Volunteer Fire Company this Saturday night. Enter through the Gate 1 Tunnel starting at 5 pm to enjoy live music from local bands Big Things Band and 40 lb.   • Tricky Triangle Club Presented by Kalahari Resorts and Conventions – Purchase this ticket add-on to receive access to exclusive question-and-answer sessions with NASCAR drivers Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Joey Logano and Ryan Newman.   • Jimmie Johnson Experience – Bring the family for this kid-focused event with Jimmie Johnson.   • Bud Light Halftime Party – This event takes place between laps 60-120 of the GoBowling.com 400 inside Pocono Raceway’s Chalet Village.
