2016 End of the Year Thank You from the staff of Speedway Digest

Since I started the site in 2010 I find little time to thank all the people that make this possible. Coming to the end of our sixth year of coverage of NASCAR and motorsports series I am writing this to thank all those who make this possible.

First and foremost I would like to thank all the fans, visitors to the site, contributors, and my family. For 40 weeks we bring coverage to each and every one of you covering over 100 racing events throughout the year, without each of you this would not be possible.

For my family who puts up with me for 40 weeks of racing coverage, trips to the tracks, events, and my crazy schedule to keep the site running week in and week out, thank you. Without them and their support in this project I wouldn’t be doing this, while sometime they may think this is crazy it’s more than just this.

To Brett Winningham, Caleb Whisler, Adam Sinclair, Katie Williams, Davey Segal, Glenn Locke, and Tim and Suzanne Disspain, I thank each and everyone one of you for your dedication to the site and your hard work on the weekly radio shows. Without your support and help none of this would be possible. While this is just a small token of my gratitude just know each of you are just as much a part of Speedway Digest moving it forward each and every week.

To all the teams, PR reps, drivers, tracks, and all the staff at NASCAR a big thank you for your support and help you have given us over the year, from attending events, interviewing drivers, asking questions and bugging you at times, it’s an honor to be able to do what we do. Without you and the access you give us we wouldn’t have this opportunity.

To the visitors to the site, the fans on Facebook, Twitter, and all the social networks we are connected with, each of you are just as invaluable as anyone else. If no one reads the site there is no site. Many of you are amazing people, engaging us in debate, keeping us straight when we screw up, and the support to the site is more than anyone can image, race fans are un-doubly the best fans in the world.

While we go into the offseason and we all get to take a break from our sport to recharge and look to the next season. The site may slow down over the off season but we are just under 90 days from engines firing and return of racing at Daytona.

With this I will take my break and begin work on the new season, and I look forward to the challenges and bringing a few new things to the site.

Thank you to all and see you in Daytona in 89 days.
