Chase Purdy teams up with Performance Marketing Group

Performance Marketing Group (PMG) announced today it has signed sixteen-year-old Chase Purdy, a winning Legends and Late Model competitor, to their growing roster of up and coming drivers.

“Chase is a proven winner and we’re excited to be involved in his driver development process,” said PMG owner JR Longley.  “We are proud he chose to work with our company after looking at many options available to assist him in pursuing his goals in racing over the next several years.”

A native of Meridian, Mississippi who currently lives in Huntersville, North Carolina, Chase competes in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Late Model Series as well as in US Legends Cars. Highly impressive thus far in his first year of full-size stock car competition, he picked up his tenth and eleventh late model race wins of the season in twin 50-lap features at Greenville-Pickens Speedway on Saturday. He is ranked in the top five in the National Whelen All-American Series point standings, with 20 top ten finishes in 21 Whelen All-American races this year. In Legends racing, he has two wins and six top five finishes through the first seven races of the Bojangles’ Summer Shootout Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway, and is ranked second in Summer Shootout Pro Division standings.

Chase started racing go karts at the age of nine. He moved to Bandolero cars when he was 12, then Legends at the age of 15. In his first year of Legends competition, he won the US Legends INEX national championship in the Young Lions division.  2016 is his first year competing in full size late model stock cars.

“I am eager to get down to business with PMG,” Chase commented. “We are already discussing options for next year, talking about where I want to be in my career two years from now and the best way for me to get there. Their guidance is exactly what my family and I needed to take my career to the next level.
