Fresh off his first victory in the CARS Racing Tour series in his most recent race at the Hickory Motor Speedway in North Carolina, Raphaël Lessard, the young racer from St. Joseph de Beauce and current leader in the drivers’ standings now will try his fate in Florida in an off-series race at the Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola.
Raphaël Lessard will participate for the first time in the ”DEEP SOUTH CRANES BLIZZARD #2” at the wheel of his regular car, the “99 FRL Express/Team Coach Imaging/Toyota/JBLAudio” of the David Gilliland Racing this coming Friday, May 27.
In preparation for this race, he will take part in open practice Thursday, May 26 at the track. The SUPER LATE MODELS race is scheduled for approximately 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 27.
The Five Flags Speedway is a half-mile track with 15-degree banking in the corners and nine degrees in the straightaways.
