2015 SCOTT Rookie of the Year David Levine Pairs with Mason Mitchell Motorsports for New Jersey Road Course

2015 SCOTT Rookie of the Year David Levine will return to the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards this weekend at the New Jersey Motorsports Park with Mason Mitchell Motorsports.

Levine will pilot the No. 98 with support from Revant Optics. This will also mark Levine’s first start in ARCA since the 2015 season finale at the Kansas Speedway.

“This opportunity with MMM means the world to me,” Levine stated. “I’m still in shock how quickly everything was able to come together. I’m heading back to NJMP for redemption. I had a great run going last year until something out my control broke. This opportunity means the world to me.”

“NJMP is a unique track to say the least. It has some incredibly high speed corners that test the drivers it also has some difficult and technical corners as well. It really is a great track. It’s one of my favorites. I feel incredibly blessed and am beyond thankful for the chance to race again. I know that their equipment is some of the best out there. I’m going to be pushing all weekend for the checkers.”

The Highland Park, Illinois driver finished fifth in ARCA points. During his rookie campaign he earned one top-five, 11 top-ten’s with a best finish of third at the Kentucky Speedway.

Levine has plenty of road course racing experience on his racing resume. Prior to racing with the ARCA Racing Series, Levine spent three seasons racing in the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge series.

He’s enjoyed success at some of the most prestigious road courses in the United States, winning poles at Road Atlanta, Road America, Sebring, Palm Beach International Raceway, and Homestead-Miami Speedway.

This weekend will mark the third ARCA start for Levine at the 2.25-mile road course located in Millville, New Jersey. His best finish in two prior starts is 13th in 2013.

NJMP marks the second of six straight weeks of racing for the drivers in the ARCA Racing Series.

Chassis Selection: Levine will pilot chassis No. 130 out of the MMM stable. This weekend will mark the cars first appearance during the 2016 season. The chassis has two prior starts earning two top-ten finishes.

Practice for the Twilight ARCA 150 presented by Unique Pretzels is scheduled in two sessions Saturday, May 28. The first practice is from 10:15 – 11:00 a.m. followed by final practice from 11:15 to 12 noon. Menards Pole Qualifying presented by Ansell (group qualifying) is scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Saturday. The ARCA 150 is set to get underway Saturday afternoon at 5:00 p.m.

ARCA will feature will feature live timing/scoring for all on-track activities as well as including a live audio call of the race.
