Team Stange Racing, LLC officially announces its 2016 ARCA Series presented by Menards Major sponsor for the #46 Ford that will be piloted by 10-time ARCA series Champion Frank Kimmel and sponsored by JUICE® Replay™. Rumors linking Kimmel to return to the #46 where he won 9 of his 10 ARCA Championships had been swirling for weeks prior to today’s confirmation. “It’s great to see Frank back in the #46 seat,” former team owner Larry Clements proclaimed, “I will be cheering him on right alongside all his fans.”
Kimmel’s return in 2016 to the #46 Ford is being billed as an “Encore Tour” where race fans will have a final season to watch Frank compete before yielding his seat to his son Frank Kimmel Jr. that is anticipated in 2017. “We are honored to have Frank drive the #46 Team Stange/Juice Replay Ford in 2016,” Team Stange Co-Owner Ashley Stange stated, “And very grateful to JUICE® Batteries for making it possible. It is a privilege to take part in Frank’s Encore Tour. I am beyond excited.”
Short Track Racing and ARCA legend Dave Weltmeyer continues in his 3rd year as Team Stange Racing Team Manager. ASA Champion and up and coming NASCAR Racer Kelly Bires will Crew Chief the #46 Ford this season. Another new addition to Team Stange for 2016 is Kyle Shear from the Legendary Shear Racing Family as in-house Fabricator and mechanic. James Heuburger also remains as mechanic and #46 Ford Car Chief for his 3rd year with Team Stange.
The team will continue to be run by Husband and Wife Co-Owners John and Ashley Stange.
JUICE® Replay™ (www.juicereplay.com) is a new consumer brand of batteries offering consumers longer lasting “playtime” and more “replays” than ordinary single-use batteries. The official consumer brand launch is February 13th, 2016 in Daytona. The products will begin to ship to its initial Retail Partners in April, 2016.
