BMR Drivers Focus On Continuing Momentum At Idaho

The NASCAR K&N Pro Series West will make just its second visit in the history of the circuit to Meridian (Idaho) Speedway for the NAPA AUTO PARTS Idaho 208 on Saturday.

The series made its only previous trip to the quarter-mile oval in 1972.

Bill McAnally Racing drivers Chris Eggleston in the No. 99 NAPA Filters/H2O Fire Protection Toyota and Brandon McReynolds in the No. 16 NAPA AUTO PARTS Toyota are both coming off top-five finishes and want to keep the momentum rolling.

Eggleston of Erie, Colorado finished third a week ago at Colorado, giving him back-to-back third-place finishes. He is atop the championship standings, with three races remaining on this year’s series schedule.

Eggleston – who is in his first full season of series competition – has two wins, seven top-five and eight top-10 finishes in 10 races. Both of his victories came at California short tracks – Irwindale Speedway and Shasta Speedway.

McReynolds is eighth in points, but still has a good shot at moving up in positions as the tightly contested top 10 spots will be battled out in the final three races of the year.

The 24-year-old from Mooresville, North Carolina has two wins, three top-five and six top-10 finishes. In sweeping the two K&N Pro Series East-West combination races at Iowa Speedway this year, McReynolds put his name in the record books by becoming the first driver with multiple wins in the prestigious event.

NAPA AUTO PARTS will kick off activities for the weekend with a special event at the NAPA store on Third Street in Nampa, Idaho. The BMR hauler is slated to be there with both drivers to greet customers and sign autographs.
