Wilson Children’s Fund Accepting Support Online - Speedway Digest

With the racing world rallying to offer their support, progress has been made with the Wilson Children’s Fund, which is now able to accept support electronically.

Reflecting the depth of respect that Justin Wilson engendered, the response to his passing has been a global one, with the universal desire to focus on providing support for his surviving family.

Honda has pledged to support the fund based on laps completed by all Honda entries in this weekend’s GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma Verizon IndyCar Series season finale at Sonoma Raceway.

In addition to a range of initiatives to raise funds including donation of sales from tribute decals and t-shirts, drivers from around the globe have pledged to make their race-worn helmets available for auction to support the fund, with further details to be announced soon.
