Lira Motorsports Adds Driver Cole Powell To Its Michigan ARCA Roster

Cole Powell will reunite with Lira Motorsports for the upcoming ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards race at Michigan International Speedway. 

 

The Mount Brydges, Ontario driver, who raced to a third place finish in his debut with Lira Motorsports at Talladega Superspeedway earlier this year, will get behind the wheel again for the team in less than two weeks for the June 12th Corrigan Oil 200. 

 

Powell will drive the teams Number 58 entry, with primary sponsorship from Tricar.

 

“We are so excited to have Cole back with our team for Michigan,” stated team owner Carlos Lira. “Along with Cole, we want to thank Joe Carapella, the owner of Tricar, for making this possible. Tricar has been a great sponsor for Cole, and we greatly appreciate their support in giving Cole the opportunity to make a run for another great finish at Michigan.”

 

This will be the 22-year old racers first start at the two-mile Brooklyn, MI track, which will be televised live on Fox Sports 2. Watch for more information to come in his Lira Motorsports pre-race News & Notes release next week.
