Final Qualifying Results From IHRA Nitro Jam Palm Beach Nationals Presented By Sunoco Race Fuels - Speedway Digest

Baton Rouge AMSOIL Nitro Funny Car Presented By Aeromotive winner Tim Boychuck failed to qualify for this weekend’s event. On his first qualifying pass, the car shook its tires. On the second, his car oiled the track and his run was disallowed. The other DNQ was Jordan Pawlick of Alberta, Canada. Pawlick’s gold Plymouth Duster failed to start during qualifying.

Dina Parise’s new Cadillac Crower Pro Mod made its first full pass down the track during the third and final round of qualifying. Parise was sitting in sixth place and made a run of 6.44 sec./213.30 mph. After all cars completed qualifying, Parise is in fifth place after Ruben Tetsoshvili and Bill Lutz bettered their times after her run.

After failing to qualify for the Bradenton Nitro Jam, Kevin Bealko broke into the top eight during the final round of U.S. Bounty Hunters Pro Stock qualifying. John Konigshofer, John Pluchino, John DeFlorian Jr. and Scott Hintz failed to qualify.

All No. 1 Qualifiers from Friday maintained their status today. Eliminations are set to begin at 5 p.m.
