Team BCR Racing takes Two Rookie Drivers Testing at Daytona

The 2014 Daytona winning team will be returning to the superspeedway this week for the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards annual open test. Team BCR’s rookie drivers John Lowinski-Loh and Mario Clouser will be attending.

Veteran ARCA driver, Brennan Poole, who was scheduled to participate in this week’s open test, will now participate in the January ARCA open test driving the No. 90 Motor Honey Ford Fusion.

Trying to make a name for himself in the ARCA Racing Series, John Lowinski-Loh, will be making his first laps around Daytona Int’l Speedway on Thursday, with the goal to make his Daytona race debut in February. Lowinski-Loh made his ARCA Racing Series debut in 2014 at Kansas Speedway, where he earned a top-10 finish.

Lowinski-Loh said, “I learned a lot at Kansas, mainly how the ARCA cars handle compared to late models or modifieds. By the end of the race I was very comfortable in the car and I’m very excited and confident we are going to be good in Daytona. I can’t thank Howard Bixman and the crew enough for this opportunity. My goals for Daytona is to just learn the track and tune in the car, so in February we will have a good piece to be competitive with.”

New to the ARCA Racing Series, but not to racing, is Mario Clouser. Clouser ran a partial schedule in the STARS midget series in 2014 with six races on schedule. Due to inclement weather, two of those races were cancelled but the four Mario was able to run, led him to top-5 finishes.

“I’m very excited to have this opportunity to drive at Daytona with a winning organization like Team BCR,” says Clouser. “Running full throttle around a 2.5-mile superspeedway is not something many people can say they have done and I’m ready to add my name to that list. This place has so much history and to know you’re out there where so many great drivers have been before is very exciting. Truly looking forward to learning more and gaining valuable seat time as I move forward with my career.”
