Race To the Cup Participant To Drive Team Stange’s Number 47 in the Herr’s Live Life for Flavor 200 ARCA Race at Madison

Team Stange Racing, LLC is proud to announce that the team’s Driver Development Arm, The Race to the Cup (www.race2cup.com) has a participant that is making the move to compete in his first ARCA race at Madison International Speedway on August 24th.

Christian Ceyla is a 20 year old Hispanic racer who brings a lot of talent to the table but also brings a message. Christian is a Type 1 Diabetic who wants to spread the message that it’s possible to do anything you want and make your dreams possible even with a disease like Diabetes. Christian wants to encourage others with this disease that with the proper help and medicines you can live life normally just like he does.

Christian will pilot the number 47 Team Stange Racing Ford Fusion in the Herr’s Live Life with Flavor 200 at Madison International Speedway on August 24th. The Race will be broadcast Live on CBS Sports Network at 3:00 PM Eastern.

Christian and Team Stange Racing have spent days testing and have gotten some great data and results. “The Kid is a natural racer and will go places if he stays on the right path”, States: Dave Weltmeyer, Team Stange Team Manager.

“I could not believe Christian never has driven a Stock Car of this caliber before, he really impressed me with his consistency and car diagnoses”, States: Rick Crawford, Team Stange Crew Chief and Consultant.

Christian Ceyla comes from the Baja Racing Ranks and is an up and coming racer in the Off Road Racing World. Christian recently just won the Baja 250 this past spring in San Felipe Mexico Team Stange Racing’s “Race to the Cup” Driver Development program is working with Christian to sharpen his skills and help plan out the proper path for him to take to accomplish his dream to become a regular on the ARCA tour and eventually end up at NASCAR’s top level, The Sprint Cup.

Christian Celaya and Team Stange Racing will unveil their sponsors and car next week in the Mad City of Madison Wisconsin.
