Rolling off the starting grid in 19th position for the 200-lap event, Maryeve and Team Stange were determined to get the most out of the No. 46 Ford Fusion.  In less than five laps into the race, a short caution would come out and Maryeve would report to her crew that the car felt good for what little time they were under green flag conditions.

Restarting at lap 10, Maryeve was able to get a better feel for the car under a longer green flag run, encountering brake issues early on in the race she would work her way up to 11th position in the first 50 laps.  Unfortunately, as the race continued Maryeve eventually had to radio to her crew that she had taken on some fender damage and felt like the motor was missing.  Crew chief Rick Crawford would have to bring his driver in under green to discover a plug wire had come off and pull the fenders away from the tires, eventually causing them to lose laps before returning on the track.  The remainder of the race was uneventful for Team Stange and Maryeve as she would hang on to her No. 46 Shooters/Hottvbrands.com Ford Fusion and bring it to the finish in 17th position.

The caution-filled race would end with a green-white-checker finish with Grant Enfinger earning his second consecutive win at Mobile International Speedway in the ARCA Racing Series.

Dufault Post Race Comments on the Mobile 200:  “I really liked working with Rick; we both want to reach success together and as a team. It was my first time racing at Mobile, and Rick’s first time working with the car and me. I feel we really needed more time in practice but we did our best. I received front-end damage early in the race; we had to pit under green to fix the front that was rubbing on the tires deal with the plug wire.  After the race, we discovered the engine was only running on seven cylinders slowing us down but we never gave up and made it to the end. We know what we need to work on for next race and this race weekend was really valuable to us as a new team.”
