Sweet Home Alabama...Piquet Jr. will make his first career NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday afternoon, having only previously raced at the 2.66-mile track in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
This Week's Camaro...The No. 30 WORX team will have chassis TSM-110 for this Saturday's race at Talladega Superspeedway. TSM-110 was previously used by Piquet Jr. at Daytona International Speedway, where he earned an 11th-place finish.
Richmond Recap...Making his first career NNS start at Richmond International Raceway last week, Nelson Piquet Jr. looked to gain a solid finish in the ToyotaCare 250 before heading to Talladega Superspeedway. Piquet Jr. and his No. 30 Delavaco team started the weekend by qualifying 23rd at the 0.75-mile short track. The Brasilia, Brazil native was able to work his way through traffic and bring his Delavaco Chevrolet Camaro home to a 14th-place finish.
