Key Motorsports Changes Name, Adds Own Engine Program

Key Motorsports, a team that ran four cars last season in the NASCAR Nationwide Series has announce a name change for next season. The Motorsports Group will now be a NASCAR Nationwide Series race team with veteran NASCAR owner Curtis Key calling the shots.

The team fielded four cars in the NASCAR Nationwide series last season, having drivers like Erik Darnell, Chase Miller, Josh Wise and others behind the wheel along the way. The team is focusing on developing top racing talent and bring new marketing partners into the sport. No word on any drivers or crew chiefs for the team but they are actively looking according to the teams website.

The team also announced via their facebook page that they will have their own engine program in the 2013 season. The team has used Earnhardt-Childress Racing engines the past few seasons.
