20th for Jason Bowles at Dover

Driving the beautiful looking Support Military Foundation No. 81 at the“Monster Mile” Saturday, Jason Bowles brought home a solid 20thplace result. Bowles had a very quick race car during the late stages of the race and earned his 15thtop-20 finish of the 2012 season.

“The car was loose early on in the race which got us behind the eight ball a little bit,” explained Bowles. “After we got it fixed, there just weren’t enough yellows left to make up the ground we lost. The SupportMilitary.org No. 81 was really fast running lap times in the top-10 during the second half of the race; we just needed more yellow flags.”

Jason showed the speed that the SupportMilitary.org No. 81 had by running extremely fast lap times throughout the race. Unfortunately, the lack of yellow flags kept him from moving forward towards the top-10. The MacDonald Motorsports team can leave the track knowing they had a fast race car, which should translate into more confidence heading in Charlotte in two weeks.

“It was great to represent such a great organization for the weekend here in Dover,” said Bowles. The car looked great and everyone should visit www.supportmilitary.orgtoday and see how you can contribute.”

The 20th place finish was Jason’s 15th top-20 of the season, and moved him up one spot to 13thin the 2012 driver standings.

Next week, the MacDonald Motorsports team will get there first week off since early June. After the off-week, NASCAR returns home to Charlotte for the Dollar General 300.
