Armstrong Returns to Dover Looking for Top-10

Dakoda Armstrong and the No. 43 WinField team are hoping to pick up where they left off at Dover (Del.) International Speedway. Armstrong just missed earning a Top-15 finish in the June event at the trackand is hoping to pick up right where he left off. The last time the team visited the track, the No. 43 WinField Ford improved throughout the weekend, picking up speed during the second half of the race and earning 16-place finish.

Previous to the June race at Dover, Armstrong had two starts at the one-mile track in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. He earned his best finish of 20th at the track in 2012. RPM had four starts at the Monster Mile in the Nationwide Series and never finished outside of the Top-15.

“I’m excited to go back to Dover. I feel like we found some good speed during the second half of the race when we were there in June. It was probably one of our best races in the first half of the season, so I’m really looking forward to going back and picking up where we left off. We just missed a Top-15 finish, but this time we’re looking for a Top-10. This weekend, we have WinField’s parent company, Land O’ Lakes, on the car, so we’ll want to show them what we’re capable of.”
