Landon Cassill will return to Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend for his sixth race appearance at auto racing’s most famous track.
Cassill has raced in four Sprint Cup and one Nationwide event at IMS, the 2.5-mile oval that has been hosting racing for more than a century.
He will drive the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolet in Saturday’s Lilly Diabetes 250 Nationwide race.
“It’s a magical place,” Cassill said. “You walk through the garages there, and it makes you think about all the great drivers who have been there before and all the great races the track has seen. There is nothing else like Indy.”
