Landon Cassill will return to the cockpit of the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller No. 4 Chevrolet for Friday night’s Food City 250 at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Kevin Lepage drove the 4 to a 20th-place finish last week at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
Cassill finished 22nd in his last Nationwide Series appearance at the high-banked Bristol half-mile – in 2008. He ran as high as 14th in that race.
“Bristol is fast and fun,” Cassill said. “Your lap times are so fast there that you’re out of the first turn and into the third before you can really think about it. It’s a challenge for every driver.”
The Bristol race is a single-day event. Practice is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. (ET) Friday, with qualifying to follow at 3:40 p.m. The 250-lap race will get the green flag at 7:30 p.m.
