Whitt to Drive No. 10 Gold Bond Toyota in the Food City 250

Cole Whitt (@ColeWhitt) will pilot the No. 10 Gold Bond Toyota Camry for Friday night’s Food City 250 at Bristol Motor Speedway.  Whitt, who typically shares seat time in the No. 44 for TriStar Motorsports,  will make his fourth start at the “World’s Fastest Half Mile”.  The .533-mile concrete oval is viewed as NASCAR’s coliseum and one of the most exhilarating venues on the schedule.

In Whitt’s three previous starts at Bristol, he scored his career best finish of sixth in this event last year. The Food City 250 will be Whitt’s third race having Gold Bond, the No. 1 selling medicated body powder brand, as his primary sponsor. Two weeks ago he scored an eighth place finish for the iconic brand at the 2.45 mile of Watkins Glen International.

On Wednesday, August 21st, Whitt and Gold Bond will be featured at Food City’s Race Night at the Knoxville Expo Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. The event will run from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with the autograph session starting at 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tickets for this event will be $5.00 in advance and $6:00 at the door.
Whitt and Gold Bond will also participate in the Food City Race Night on State Street in Bristol TN/VA on Thursday, August 22nd from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The 26th Annual Food City Race Night is one of the largest fan festivals on the NASCAR circuit and proceeds will benefit a local children’s organization.   Tickets for the event will be $5.00 in advance and $6.00 at the gate.

As a regional distributor of Gold Bond products, Food City will host Whitt during one of their autograph sessions. Gold Bond will also have a display of their own with exclusive No. 10 Gold Bond Racing hero cards, T-shirts and the famed Gold Bond medicated powder samples.

Make sure to tune in to the Food City 250 under the lights at Bristol 7:30 p.m. EDT on ESPN.
