Hit The Road (Course)…The NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) will be making its final road-course stop of the season, as they make their series debut at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course (Mid-Ohio) this weekend. Along with the majority of the rest of the field, Kyle Larson will be making his first start at the 2.258-mile road course. In his previous two races at the road courses of Road America and Watkins Glen International, Larson has one top-10 finish, coming home seventh at Road America.

This Week’s Camaro…Crew chief Trent Owens and the No. 32 McDonald’s team will bring chassis TSM-301 to Mid-Ohio this weekend. TSM-301 is the same car that Larson drove to a seventh-place finish in his road-course racing debut at Road America in June.
Come On By…Larson will be signing autographs along with his Turner Scott Motorsports teammates at the NNS autograph session on Friday, August 16 at the Nationwide Hospitality Tent. The autograph session will occur from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., but wristbands for the event will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the Nationwide display.

Previous Race Recap…Larson appeared to be poised for a solid finish at Watkins Glen International when his race unexpectedly came to a premature end. The No. 32 McDonald’s Chevrolet was running inside the top 15 and on its way to the front when a powertrain problem brought Larson to a halt halfway through the race, forcing him to the garage and resulting in a 30th-place finish.
