Yard of Bricks…Justin Allgaier will be making his second career NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. In last year’s inaugural race, Allgaier started 14th and finished 12th at the famed 2.5-mile track.
This Week’s Camaro…This weekend the No. 31 Jason Leffler Tribute Chevrolet team will utilize chassis TSM-404. TSM-404 is a brand new chassis out of the Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) shop.
Recapping Chicagoland…The NNS completed its first of two stops this season at BRANDT and Allgaier’s home track, Chicagoland Speedway. Allgaier qualified his No. 31 BRANDT Chevrolet Camaro 16th for the STP 300. Allgaier finished eighth at Chicagoland in the No. 31 BRANDT Professional Chevrolet for TSM, his fifth top-10 finish in seven starts at Chicagoland Speedway. Allgaier is currently fifth in the NNS Driver Point Standings.
Meet Justin…Allgaier will sign autographs at the infield Pavilion along with his TSM teammates from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 27. Allgaier will also appear at the Chevy stage on Saturday with his TSM teammates at 2:15 p.m.

“Although I never raced at IMS with Jason, I did race Lucas Oil Raceway two times with him and also helped him work on his midget the same week there. He was such a huge fan of Lucas Oil Raceway and Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He had respect for the history of IMS and all of the drivers that raced there. Jason raced in the Indianapolis 500 and also raced a Cup car at Indy. It is a shame he never got to run a Nationwide race at the big track because that would have meant more to him than racing at any other track on the circuit. Being at Indy with Jason was always a fun time because he knew everyone in town. He knew every driver and team of every year at Indy. He was a student of USAC, IndyCar and Champ cars. To honor Jason and Charlie Dean at Indianapolis is going to be one of the highest honors I have been able to be part of, and he would be very proud of TSM for this. I’ve never wanted to win a race more than I do this week.”

“Indianapolis [Motor Speedway] is a prestigious track to race at with all of its history. It’s our second time racing there in the Nationwide Series, so it’s nice to be going back to the big track. We also have a special Jason Leffler tribute paint scheme. Jason loved Indy and it’s awesome that TSM is able to honor him this weekend, and to help Charlie. It’s a privilege to drive this car.”
