RAB Racing, Alex Bowman Partners with Nationwide Children’s Hospital for the Indiana 250

RAB Racing with Brack Maggard and driver Alex Bowman announced today that they are partnering with the Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio for the NASCAR Nationwide Series Indiana 250 on July 27th at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Nationwide Children’s Hospital is one of America’s largest pediatric hospitals and research centers with more than 1,000 physician specialists providing care during a million-plus patient visits annually.  All care is provided regardless of a family’s ability to pay.  On the hospital’s dedicated research campus, hundreds of scientists work on new discoveries for pediatric cancer, prematurity and many of the diseases affecting children.   The hospital has been ranked as one the best hospitals in the United States by US News & World Report.  Last year, Nationwide Children’s Hospital cared for children from every US state and 27 foreign countries.  The hospital’s work is made possible through generous support from the public and corporate partners such as Nationwide Insurance who raised more than $6 million for the hospital last year  through their sports marketing programs.

“I’m proud to have the opportunity to help further bring awareness to the Nationwide Children’s Hospital this weekend,” said owner Robby Benton. “Nationwide Insurance has been instrumental to the success of the series we call home, through their role as the title sponsor. They’ve been a great partner to both NASCAR and teams such as ours, so it’s an honor to bring attention to a cause that means so much to them. Indianapolis Motor Speedway is a special place to any racer and we look forward to carrying the Nationwide Children’s Hospital colors as we take to the track this Friday for opening practice.”

Fans can make a $10 gift to Nationwide Children’s Hospital by texting KIDS to 50555.

The Indiana 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway will be televised live Saturday, July 27th beginning at 4:30 p.m. EST on ESPN.
