Ross Chastain – Daytona Preview

Ross Chastain (@RossChastain), driver of the No. 19 National Watermelon Association Ford F-Series, will make his first start for Brad Keselowski Racing (BKR) in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) during the 2013 season opener on Friday night at Daytona International Speedway.

The National Watermelon Association serves as the primary sponsor of the No. 19 BKR (@TeamBKR) entry this week for the first of five primary races during the 2013 NCWTS season.

This Friday will mark Chastain’s second career NCWTS start at Daytona International Speedway. Chastain started 24th and finished 28th in the 2012 NCWTS season opener as a victim of a crash.

“I’m so excited to make my debut for Brad Keselowski Racing in my home state of Florida. To have the support of the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion, The National Watermelon Association, Draw-Tite, and Reese Towpower is a dream come true. This BKR team gives me the best opportunity to demonstrate my driving ability, and I cannot wait to get on track. The National Watermelon Association has supported me since my start in Late Models, and it will be an honor to represent them at Daytona, our sport’s most historic track.” – Ross Chastain
