Peck Motorsports Announce 2013 Plans

With a focus on continued growth and continuing to help bring awareness to the Arthritis Foundation, Peck Motorsports announced their plans for 2013 today. The Pennsylvania-based team will compete part-time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) with driver Todd Peck behind the wheel of the No. 96 Arthritis Foundation Chevrolet.

The family-owned and operated team will plan to compete in at least five events in 2013 with more events planned depending on sponsorship. The team will make their 2013 debut at the Kansas Speedway in April. The team will then pick their remaining schedule events after that.

Also returning for their third year with the race team is the Arthritis Foundation. The collaboration is aimed to bring awareness and raise funds for the millions who, like Peck, suffer from the disease. Peck was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis as a teenager and has proved to be an inspiration to those who suffer, young and old. Peck will also continue to attend events with the Arthritis Foundation to promote awareness for juvenile arthritis and arthritis patients.

“I think we’re prepared for a good season,” said Peck. “We keep learning more and more each time we enter the series. We really want to take that next step this year and concentrate on being as competitive as possible. Off the track, I’m thankful to continue to work with the Arthritis Foundation. We have worked hard to bring additional awareness through events both at and away from the track.” Todd Peck started his career driving go-karts. He worked his way up to the national levels in karting before advancing to the Allison Legacy Series. Peck has experience in the Rev-Oil Pro Cup Series, more than 15 starts in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and five starts in the NCWTS.

“We continue to learn more and more each time we compete in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series,” added crew chief Keith Wolfe. “We have two trucks prepared for this season and our goal is to get approvals to compete on all the intermediate tracks and superspeedways.” The team continues to look for sponsorship partners for 2013.
