Ryan Blaney Kansas Truck Series Preview

Ryan Blaney (@RyanBlaney22), driver of the No. 29 Cooper Standard Performance Products Ford F-Series, will make his 13th career start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) at Kansas Speedway on Saturday afternoon.

This Sunday will mark Blaney’s first career NCWTS start and second ever career start at Kansas Speedway.

Blaney’s first start at Kansas Speedway came last October during the Kansas Lottery 300 in Nationwide Insurance Series (NNS). Blaney started 27th and finished 11th in the No. 22 Discount Tire entry for Penske Racing.

After three races, Blaney and the No. 29 Cooper Standard team now sits 5th in NCWTS driver point standings, 35 points back from first.

“I’m really excited to race at Kansas in the Truck Series this coming Saturday, especially since the track has recently been paved. I had a good run there last year in the Nationwide Series and look to get the Cooper Standard Ford to its first victory lane of the season. Our No. 29 BKR team showed serious versatility through all the adversity thrown our way at The Rock on Saturday. We look to build on that at Kansas this weekend. ” Ryan Blaney
