Joey Logano Kansas Truck Series Preview

Joey Logano (@JoeyLogano), driver of the No. 19 Reese Towpower Carbon Forged Ford F-Series, will make his second start for Brad Keselowski Racing (@TeamBKR) in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) during the SFP 250 at Kansas Speedway on Saturday, April 20th.

The Penske Racing driver will pilot the No. 19 entry in his third career NCWTS start. Logano finished second last weekend in the North Carolina Lottery 200 at Rockingham Speedway, which turned out to be a thrilling race for him. Logano made a late push to the front from 18th to second over the race’s final 20 laps.

Saturday will be Logano’s 13th career start at Kansas Speedway and first in the NCWTS, all 12 prior races coming in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) and NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS). Logano won back-to-back NNS races in 2009 and 2010 at Kansas Speedway.

Logano will also be competing in the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Ford Fusion for Penske Racing on Sunday afternoon in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

The No. 19 Brad Keselowski Racing entry currently sits 9th in NCWTS Owner’s points, 39 points behind the leader.

“I’m pretty pumped to get back behind the wheel of the No. 19 this weekend at Kansas. Rockingham was great because it allowed me to get familiar with the team and the trucks once again. Now, heading into Kansas, I feel like we are all on the same page and will have a better idea as to what to expect from each other. I’m also looking forward to getting on a track where aero and downforce play a bigger role. I’ve raced atTalladega and Rockingham now in a truck, so this will be the first time on an intermediate track. So this should be another learning experience for me, but I believe we will have a shot at it come Saturday. I really want to win one of these NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races bad.”Joey Logano
