BK Racing is proud to announce today a partnership with Universal Pictures and Granite Pictures to promote Dumb and Dumber To, which hits theaters nationwide on November 14. Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender Alex Bowman’s yellow No.23 Toyota Camry will carry the image of Lloyd Christmas, while NSCS veteran JJ Yeley’s blue No.83 Toyota Camry will carry the image of Harry Dunne. Arizona natives Bowman and Yeley will be competing at their home track this weekend.
Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels reprise their signature roles as Lloyd and Harry in the sequel to the 1994 smash hit that took the physical comedy and kicked it in the nuts: Dumb and Dumber To. The original film’s directors, Peter and Bobby Farrelly, take Lloyd and Harry on a road trip to find a child Harry never knew he had and the responsibility neither should ever, ever be given.
“This is a huge deal for BK Racing to promote one of the most popular movies of all-time,” said Ron Devine, team owner of BK Racing. “Ever since I found out about this deal coming together many months ago I have been very excited. We hope to play a big role in promoting Dumb and Dumber To to NASCAR fans who will be attendance in Phoenix and the millions watching on television.”
“I was only a little kid when the original movie came out, but I have seen it many times on television, said Bowman. “I like much of the team have been extremely excited for this deal and I hope to give them a great run this weekend in Phoenix.”
“I am very excited to apart of this partnership this weekend in Phoenix,” said Yeley. “Racing at my home track in front of friends, family and hardcore supporter is always enjoyable, but having a piece of motion-picture history on board is an added bonus.”
