Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to be features on McDowell and Chriss Buescher car at Atlanta

Atlanta Motor Speedway will be featuring the Mutant Ninja Turtles this weekend, Leavine Family Racing will also have the Mutant Teenage Turtles on the #95 of Michael McDowell for the Sprint Cup Race, and the Nationwide #60 of Chris Buescher will also have the paint scheme. The Atlanta Motor Speedway will welcome Nickelodeon’s iconic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) for its NASCAR Labor Day weekend, Aug. 29-31, 2014. Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo will bring their fast-action, high-adventure style of fun to the NASCAR Nationwide Series and Sprint Cup Series for a weekend of family entertainment, including two Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle-themed cars, which will be driven by Nationwide Series driver Chris Buescher and Sprint Series driver #95-Michael McDowell.

McDowell will drive the #95 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Leonardo Ford Fusion for Leavine Family Racing (LFR) in Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. With its race shop based in Concord, N.C., Leavine Family Racing (LFR) fields a single-car effort in the competitive NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Owned by Bob and Sharon Leavine, LFR has competed in NASCAR’s top series since 2011. Fueled by a passion for performance and a focus on growth, LFR continues to have a positive impact in the NASCAR community.

Also at the speedway, fans of all ages will be able to enjoy end-of-the-summer activities chock-full of ‘Turtle power’. The Nickelodeon Kids Zone, located in the Fan Zone adjacent to the main entrance to the speedway, will offer free family fun with appearances from Buescher and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles costumed characters, a TMNT photo station, micro-stock car racing, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles obstacle course, as well as a Turtles-themed cooling lounge and tattoo station. Nick Radio’s J Boogie will be broadcasting from the Nick Radio DJ booth and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles costumed characters will visit the Nickelodeon Kids Zone throughout race day and various surprise locations all weekend. Special highlights of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on Nickelodeon will air on the in-house monitors Saturday and Sunday before the NASCAR Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series races. Audio will be available through the track scanner frequency.

Ticket packages for Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles invasion of Atlanta Motor Speedway include the front stretch tickets in the Earnhardt Grandstand.
