Trench Shoring Joins Phil Parsons Racing for Auto Club 400

Trench Shoring Company, a leader within the construction industry that provides customers the finest shoring equipment and services, will extend their marketing reach through a strategic partnership with Phil Parsons Racing and driver Josh Wise.  The company will serve as the primary sponsor on Wise’s No. 98 Chevrolet for this weekend’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif.

“I’m really excited to have Trench Shoring Company on board for the race this weekend,” commented driver Josh Wise.  “We’ve worked with them in the past and to have them come back on board this weekend is a testament to the positive impact they saw from their first partnership experience.  They do a lot of business throughout Southern California and Nevada, and I’m excited to represent them their ‘home track.'”

This is Trench Shoring Company’s second outing with Phil Parsons Racing this season.  The Corona, Calif.-based company also served as an associate sponsor for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 9.

“We’ve been bringing our employees to enjoy the NASCAR races at Auto Club Speedway for years now,” recalled Kevin Malloy, president of Trench Shoring Company.  “To have this opportunity to sponsor the No. 98 Chevrolet-to entertain the folks that work for us and to have a car on the track in the Sprint Cup race on Sunday-is very special.”

It’s no surprise that Tom Malloy, CEO of Trench Shoring Company, would take advantage of a sponsorship opportunity within NASCAR.  The second-generation businessman is a major motorsports enthusiast who has owned and raced many cars over the years, particularly within the vintage car ranks.  Additionally, a long-standing family friendship helped uncover the partnership opportunity, as the Malloy and Agajanian families have been business partners within motorsports dating back to the 1940s when family patriarchs and motorsports pioneers, Emmett Malloy and J.C. Agajanian, first formed a partnership.

“Getting exposure for Trench Shoring in both Las Vegas and Southern California is important to us, as our company operates in both those areas,” commented Tom Malloy.  “It’s also special to do this with Phil Parsons / Curb Agajanian Motorsports.  Phil’s [Parsons] decades in the sport as a racer, car owner and broadcaster say it all, and the Agajanian’s are third-generation friends to our family.  The opportunity just seemed to make sense.  I’ve been in touch with Cary [Agajanian] over the years, and his son Josh was a big help in putting this opportunity together with us.  We look forward to a good result from Josh Wise in the No. 98 Trench Shoring Company Chevrolet this Sunday.”

Trench Shoring Company has the largest inventory of shoring equipment within Southern California and Southern Nevada, all of which has been tested for dependability and built to meet or exceed the CAL-OSHA requirements.  Combined with customer service often offering same-day service, Trench Shoring Company has all the equipment its customers require to get the job done quickly and easily while keeping workers and machinery productive.

“We’re really excited to have Trench Shoring Company come on board this weekend,” commented Phil Parsons, owner of Phil Parsons Racing.  “We really enjoyed working with them at Las Vegas Motor Speedway earlier this month, and we’re honored that they joining us again at Auto Club Speedway.  Our team has a great partnership with Cary Agajanian and his family, and I’m excited that we can be part of the long-standing family history between the Agajanian and Malloy families.”
