Ambrose has 10 Sprint Cup starts at Bristol Motor Speedway under his belt. Since his first Cup start in 2009, the Australian has posted two top-five and five top-10 finishes. He collected his best finish of third in the 2009 night race.
It’s not the start he wanted, but @MarcosAmbrose knows the best is yet to come.
Marcos Ambrose knows it’s a long season, and although Phoenix and Vegas were not the results the driver was hoping for, he knows that RPM has invested to make sure that he is well prepared each weekend. |
“There is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes to prepare our cars. It’s obvious that we get some equipment from other sources, and it’s our responsibility to prepare the car for the track. We’ve made more investments back into the team to get ahead of rules changes and make sure we have fast cars.
“Our speedway car was a rocket, and we came to Daytona with a great car. The past two weeks we are working really hard to improve on. I’m working on how to get the best out of the car, the guys are working on the setups and, as a whole, we have a lot of people trying to put us in Victory Lane. We have the resources and the tools, and we will have good races.
“Every person is looking for one win to get into the final 10 races. We know where we have our best chances, but we also know that we can win at any track. Bristol is one of those places where we can race up front and win. It just takes one race, and I feel we can make it happen.”
