Biffle Looks Forward to Successful 2014 Season

Greg Biffle and 3M look to continue their winning combination in 2014.  3M has been a Roush Fenway partner since 2005 and this 2014 season marks their seventh season as the primary sponsor of the No. 16 Ford Fusion.  Throughout 3M’s partnership with Roush Fenway Racing (RFR) there have been nine victories, 39 top-five and 86 top-10 finishes with 3M brands and customers.  Biffle leads the way in 3M’s success on track and most recently scored Ford’s 1,000thNASCAR victory in Michigan with 3M’s “Give Kids a Smile” on the hood of his Ford.

“I’m excited to see how the new Chase format works out this year and I hope it plays into our hands a little bit,” said Biffle.  “The goal is to win a Championship, we’ve come very close a few times and I feel like this year we are well aligned to achieve that goal.  Having 3M on board over the years has been amazing and I’m ready to get this 2014 season started.”

Matt Puccia returns as the crew chief of the No. 16 3M Ford Fusion, entering his third full season in the position.  The 2014 season kicks off with the Daytona 500 on Sunday, February 23rd and provides a chance to showcase all the hard work that Puccia and the 3M Pit Bulls have put in preparing for the season.  With their eyes on a Championship, the 3M team is focused on helping Biffle become the only driver to win a Championship in all three of NASCAR’s major series.

Biffle won RFR’s first NASCAR Championship via the Truck Series in 2000. He followed that up with a NASCAR Nationwide Series title in 2002 and finished second the points in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series in 2006. He has qualified for the “Chase” playoff on six occasions, including in five of the last six seasons.
