Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway Notes & Entry List

The final race of 36 in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season, and Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup race number 10, will be the Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. There are 43 cars on the entry list which means all of the teams will make Sunday’s race.

Friday: 1:30 p.m. – 3 p.m. ET Practice on ESPN2, 6:10 p.m. ET Qualifying on ESPN2

Saturday: Noon – 12:55 p.m. ET Practice on Fox Sports 2, 3 p.m. – 3:50 p.m. ET Final Practice on Fox Sports 2

Sunday: 3 p.m. ET Race on ESPN

Entry List Notes:

Jimmie Johnson will clinch his sixth NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship with any finish of 23rd or better, 24th or better with a lap led and 25th or better with the most laps led. Matt Kenseth is 28 points back to start the race and Kevin Harvick is 34 points back as the only two to have a chance to capitalize on a bad finish by Johnson.

Ken Schrader will make his 763rd and final NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start driving the No. 32 Ford for FAS Lane Racing.

Parker Kligerman earned his second start of his Sprint Cup career driving the No. 30 Toyota for Swan Racing with an 18th in his debut at Texas.

Kyle Larson will make his fourth start for Phoenix Racing in the No. 51 Chevrolet.

Elliott Sadler will race his fourth event for Michael Waltrip Racing in the No. 55 Toyota as Brian Vickers is out for the rest of the season due to a blot clot in his calf.

Trevor Bayne will make his 12th start of the season for Wood Brothers Racing in the No. 21 Ford.

AJ Allmendinger returns to the No. 47 Toyota for JTG/Daugherty Racing. It will be his ninth start for the team that he will drive full time for in 2014. It is his 18th start overall on the season.

The Ford EcoBoost 400 will be the last drive for a number of big name drivers with their current teams as all will move to other teams or even other forms of racing next season. Mark Martin in the No. 14 for Stewart-Haas Racing, Kevin Harvick in the No. 29 for Richard Childress Racing, Jeff Burton in the No. 31 for Richard Childress Racing, Ryan Newman in the No. 39 for Stewart-Haas Racing, Juan Pablo Montoya in the No. 42 for Earnhardt-Ganassi Racing, Martin Truex Jr in the No. 56 for Michael Waltrip Racing, and Kurt Busch in the No. 78 for Furniture Row Racing.
