NASCAR Star Carl Edwards Appears in Music Video with Platinum-Selling Artist Sara Evans

Roush Fenway Racing driver and NASCAR superstarCarl Edwards teams with Platinum-selling RCA Nashville recording artist Sara Evans in her new music video for her single “Slow Me Down,” which premieres today at Yahoo! Music http://smarturl.it/SlowMeDownYVideo.

“Sara was as nice and down to earth as she seems,” said Edwards. “She amazed me with how much heart she put into this song.  We had a lot of fun shooting the video and I hope everyone enjoys it.”

Evans, a fellow Columbia, Mo. native, and Edwards put their acting skills to work in Nashville, Tenn. under the direction of Emmy Award winner Peter Zavaldil. This is the second music video appearance for Edwards, who starred in Justin Moore’s “Bait a Hook” video last year (Click to View).

No stranger to the limelight, this year  Edwards has made high-profile appearances on popular shows such as LIVE! Kelly and Michael, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Big Brain Theory and Cartoon Network’s The Adventures of Annoying Orange.

“Carl blew us all away both on and off camera,” said Evans.  “He nailed the acting parts and was so fun to have around on set especially during the fighting scenes in the apartment. We’re both from Missouri and share the same sense of humor, so it was easy to joke back and forth, we had the entire crew cracking up, but on camera it looks like we literally hate each other.  I hope the fans love the video for “Slow Me Down” as much as I do!”
