Tommy Baldwin Racing Promotes Sober Driving at Dover

The Delaware Office of Highway Safety (DOHS) is back on board the No. 36 “Drive Sober, Arrive Alive” Chevrolet at Dover International Speedway.

Tommy Baldwin Racing and the DOHS have teamed up for an action packed weekend at the Monster Mile with several fan events throughout the weekend. To start off, the DOHS will be promoting their “Drive Sober, Arrive Alive” campaign where they are encouraging fans to take a pledge to not drink and drive. In the fan zone, fans can sign the No. 36 Chevrolet show car, taking a pledge to not drive impaired.

Driver JJ Yeley commented, “It is great to be heading back to Dover International Speedway and teaming up with the Delaware Office of Highway Safety once again. I have been involved with the DOHS for the past couple years and really enjoy getting to help promote driver safety throughout the weekend. We have a lot of really neat stuff planned for the fans, I can’t wait to see everyone out at the track this weekend.”

“We are happy to be back with TBR to promote Designated Drivers this weekend at the Monster Mile,” said Alison Kirk, Community Relations Officer for the Delaware Office of Highway Safety. “This is our third race with Tommy, his team, and driver JJ Yeley promoting our traffic safety messages. We all have a common goal when it comes to race fans, we want them to have fun, enjoy the race, but also be safe and have a designated driver.”

At the Track: Friday afternoon starting at 2pm, JJ Yeley will be holding a press conference in the media center to discuss all of the activities planned for the weekend.

Saturday morning from 9:30-10:30, Yeley will be visiting several campgrounds surrounding the speedway in a “Choose Your Ride” cruiser, talking with fans about taking the pledge to not drink and drive.

Sunday morning from 9:30-11 am, Yeley will be out at the DOHS display for a meet and greet that will conclude with an autograph session.
